Rent control to curb excessive rents. Action against insecure tenancies.

Prohibit arbitrary fee charges on tenant and promote secure, long term tenancies

End “right to buy” schemes and tenant black-listing software/databases

Enforce social housing /social renting quotas in new developments

Increase supply by removing incentives for developers hoarding land banks

EDUCATION and HEALTH STRATEGY set by the PROFESSIONS

These should not be at the mercy of ministers’ pet whims or ideology, which has resulted in the turmoil of the past decades, as policy chops and changes with every ministerial appointment.

The long term strategy for education and health should be set and managed by those within the profession, who understand the real issues.

Immediately protect student loan terms in law so that no graduate pays back more than they bargained for.

Allow conversion of student loans to a graduate’s tax on loan payback terms and conditions for those - the majority - who will never pay off their debt

Review “value for money” TO STUDENTS/GRADUATES of university tuition fee

Reinstate a separate ministry for the environment whose sole remit is to promote the health and wealth of wild life in the remaining natural habitats of the UK.

This ministry should be run by a Green party MP
